21.02.24 - Ahoy mateys! Pirates have arrived at Bankside!

Yellow Base (Year 2) are really enjoying their new topic about Pirates! They had a special delivery which was a letter from a pirate - how exciting!

                                              

 

09.02.24 - Indigo Class Assembly!

Today, Indigo Base put on a showstopping assembly based on their learning this term in their topic The Rainforest! There was a huge audience of pupils, staff and families to watch the occassion. It was a thought-provoking show that made the audience think about the small changes we can all make to ensure the sustainability of our planet going forwards!

01.02.24 - Councillor Ashghar Ali Visits the Library!

We were delighted to share our new library pod that has been built in the playground with Councillor Ashghar Ali, who represents the Gipton and Harehills ward. He joined our community group and enjoyed a story with our families! We are grateful for the grant that was provided to help fund this important project to promote reading in our school. 

                                                                              

 

31.01.24 - Red Base Special Visitor!

Today Red Base had a special visit from an ambulance and a paramedic! They were lucky enough to learn about the important role that a paramedic has in helping people and the vital equipment that is on an ambulance to help save someone's life in a medical emergency. It was a fascinating afternoon!

23.01.24 - Forest School @ Roundhay Park!

Today we explored the fairy garden at Roundhay Park in our forest school session! We also went to spot the different birds on the lake. It was so much fun!
