This week in Year 2, children have invited their families into their classrooms to practise their sewing skills as part of their Design and Technology topic. The adults were so helpful and shared their own knowledge with the children. It was a lovely afternoon of learning for everyone!

Today we had an exciting pantomime performance in school! Our Key Stage One children had the pleasure of watching the story of Aladdin! It was so much fun and there were plenty of opportunities for the audience to get involved in the show!
This week we have added some new activities to our lunchtime provision. Our staff work with our playground leaders to facilitate activities for our pupils to engage with during lunchtime. We have had a great week enjoying the new provision!
At Bankside our pupils enjoy being able to take part in a range of clubs over the academic year. This week in after school cooking club our children created fabulous treat pizzas! These were pancakes topped with fresh fruit! They tasted just as good as they look!
