Governors Duties

Structure and responsibilities of the governing body

The role of the governing body is to support the leadership team by determining, monitoring and keeping under review the policies, plans and procedures within which the school operates.

We meet throughout the year as a full governing body and in the following sub-committees:

  • Resources
  • Teaching and learning
  • Headteacher performance management.
