This week has been "Learning Journey Launch Week". We have recently reaffirmed our teaching and learning approach focusing on the process of learning and how it feels when things are tricky. We have been using the pit to demonstrate to our pupils that it is part of the process of learning to feel stuck – this is good as it means we are learning! Our approach focusses on the tools we can use to support children when they are feeling stuck and how to overcome this to master the skills or knowledge in lessons.
