At Bankside we have a dedicated group of staff who plan our lunchtime provision to ensure that all of our pupils enjoy the activities that are available in the playground. This week we have been particularly enjoying engaging with the winter-themed craft activities!

This week the families of our pupils in Yellow Base were invited to join their children in class to take part in a sewing lesson. We had a great turn out, and we hope that our families enjoyed spending quality time with their child.

Last week our Year 2 children enjoyed a visit from Zoo Lab, they handled a range of animals and found out interesting information about their habitats. 

At lunchtime this week we have been enjoying activities linked to Remembrance Day. Children enjoyed making their own poppies as part of this provision. 

We took a small group of children to Leeds Trinity University in the city centre. They were all impeccably behaved and fully enjoyed the activities they participated in. Violet 1 have had a great week on their immersive Into University experience. They have spent the whole week with the staff from Into University looking at the Creative Arts and exploring different career paths. The children particularly enjoyed the trip to Leeds City Art Gallery!
